Method

In a bowl, combine the room-temperature butter or margarine, sugar, and eggs, then add the starch, baking powder, vanilla, and flour, and knead into a soft dough.

Divide the dough into 2 portions, add cocoa to one half, and mix well.

Chill the prepared dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours, then slice it.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes.
