Method

Combine kefir, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Mix well, then pour in the melted butter. Add the flour and knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

Add melted butter, salt, and pepper to the boiled potatoes.

Stir finely chopped green onions and grated cheese into the mashed potatoes. Mix well and the filling is ready.

Divide the dough into 4 portions. Let them rest for 5 minutes. Roll each portion of dough into a 0.5 mm thick oval and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Place the filling down the center of the oval, then pinch the edges together to form 'boats'.

Brush the dough with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 minutes.
