Method

Prepare the dough by mixing rye flour, kefir or sour milk, water, and salt.

For the filling, boil the potatoes and mash them with milk, butter, and salt.

Shape the kalitki by rolling out the dough and placing the filling inside.

Brush the pastries with a mixture of sour cream, egg yolk, and salt.
