Beat room-temperature butter with powdered sugar and salt. Add the eggs and beat again.

Add the flour and knead the dough. Fold in any dry mix-ins of your choice and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Shape the cookies and place a desired filling in the center of each.

Bake at 160-170°C (320-338°F) for about 12 minutes. Let cool after baking.
