Sweet Rice in a Multicooker

Fragrant dessert rice with coconut milk and ripe mango, cooked in a multicooker. A great choice for an unusual sweet dish or breakfast.

Method

Rinse the rice, then place it in the multicooker bowl and soak in water (240 ml) for 30 minutes.

Add the remaining water to the rice, add salt and sugar, and mix everything well.

Pour in half of the coconut milk, mix again, and cook on the 'Rice' setting (about 20 minutes).

When the program ends, do not open the lid for another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: warm the remaining milk (do not boil!), add the honey, and stir until dissolved.

Peel and slice the mango.

Mound the rice attractively onto serving plates by first packing it into a suitably sized bowl, pressing down with your palm or a spoon, and then inverting the bowl onto the plate.

Drizzle the rice with the warm sauce, place the mango alongside, and serve immediately while still warm.
