Method

Work the ground turkey thoroughly until dense and sticky so the patties hold their shape and stay juicy.

Divide the meat mixture into 8 portions.

Cut the cheese into small sticks.

Place a piece of cheese in the center of each portion of meat and shape it into a patty or log, completely sealing the filling inside.

To freeze, arrange the patties in a single layer on a board or in a container, freeze for 2–3 hours, then transfer to a bag or vacuum seal them.

To cook fresh patties, bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25–30 minutes.

Place frozen patties directly into a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) without thawing for 35–40 minutes (remove any plastic wrap before baking; you can brush them with teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds).
