Method

Cut the strawberries in half.

Combine all the ingredients for the quark base and blend until smooth.

Grease a baking dish with butter and dust it with semolina or flour.

Pour the mixture into the dish and arrange the strawberries on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for 25–30 minutes.

If the bottom is browning too fast, place a pan of water on the lower rack.

Let the casserole cool in the dish, then remove and slice.
