Method
Rinse the strawberries thoroughly, hull them, place them in a pot with the granulated sugar, and let sit for 4 to 6 hours until they release their juices.
Bring the mixture to a boil over low heat, gently skim off any foam that forms, and simmer for exactly 5 minutes, then let rest for 8 to 10 hours.
Repeat the 5-minute boiling process two more times with 8-to-10-hour intervals—this allows the syrup to thicken while keeping the berries whole.
Ladle the hot jam into sterilized jars, seal them tightly, turn upside down, and let cool completely under a warm blanket.
