Method

Knead a fairly firm dough and leave it in a warm place for 2 hours.

Divide the dough into 8-10 pieces, rolling each into a long, thin rope of even thickness.

Fold the rope in half, twist the strands together, and form a ring, sealing the ends securely.

Dip each bagel into the syrup and coat generously with sesame seeds.

Place on parchment paper (only 4 fit on a baking sheet) and let rest under plastic wrap for 20-30 minutes.

Bake in a preheated oven at maximum power for 8-10 minutes or at a medium temperature for about 20 minutes.
