Method

Prep your ingredients.

Sauté the onion in olive oil until translucent, then melt in the butter.

Toss in the bell pepper and cook for 5–7 minutes, followed by the tomatoes, tomato paste, and a splash of water.

Simmer over medium heat.

Season with salt, pepper, basil, paprika, turmeric, coriander, and add the hot pepper and minced garlic.
