Dissolve the cornstarch in one cup of milk. Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan, set over medium heat, and add the chocolate. Heat, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is completely melted.

Pour in the milk and starch mixture, whisk thoroughly, and keep on the heat until the drink begins to thicken.

Remove from the heat. Serve immediately while hot.
