Finely dice the onion and mix it into the ground meat, then season with salt, spices, and pepper.

Grate the raw potatoes coarsely, drain any excess liquid, season with salt and pepper, and divide into two portions.

Mix the egg, sour cream, and finely grated cheese into the second portion of potatoes.

Place half of the plain potatoes in a single layer in a greased baking dish.

Add the minced meat as the second layer.

Add the potato mixture with the egg, cheese, and sour cream as the third layer.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40-50 minutes.
