Method
Rinse and cut the ribs.
Put them in the multicooker bowl, drizzle with oil, set to Sauté mode for 20 minutes and brown them on both sides, stirring occasionally.
Soak the prunes.
Add half the water to the multicooker, season the dish with pepper.
Switch the multicooker to Braising mode for one hour.
Mix the remaining water with sugar until dissolved.
30 minutes before the ribs are done, add the prunes and the syrup to the pot.
15 minutes before the end, add the honey and a bay leaf.
After the multicooker turns off, season the dish with anise and adjust the salt to taste.
