Rinse the pears, core them, and slice into wedges.

Transfer to the multicooker bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and set to the stew mode for 10 minutes. Skim off the foam and let sit for 4 hours to release the juices.

Bring back to a boil and let sit for another 4 hours.

Heat through one more time on stew mode, add the citric acid, and stir gently.

Pour the finished jam into sterilized jars and seal with lids.
