Method

Clean and butcher the nutria, cut it into portion-sized pieces, and place them in the multicooker pot.

Select the 'Sauté' mode and brown the meat in vegetable oil until golden (about 10 minutes).

Remove the nutria from the multicooker, add sliced onions and minced garlic to the pot, sauté for a few minutes.

Return the meat to the onions and add carrots cut into batons.

Stir in sour cream and pour in water—just enough so it doesn't completely cover the meat.

Switch to 'Braising' mode, add salt and spices, and simmer everything covered for 60 minutes.

Serve with any side dish or simply with a fresh vegetable salad.
