Method

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth.

Pour in the milk, stir well, and place over heat.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Stir in the butter until melted, cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface, and let cool.

Assemble in a pan in alternating layers: cream, cookies, cream, cookies, and so on.

For the glaze, melt the chocolate bar in a double boiler or microwave, and stir in the vegetable oil.

Drizzle the glaze over the top of the cake and let it chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
