Soft and fluffy homemade yogurt doughnuts made with a multicooker. A wonderful sweet treat to enjoy with tea.

Method

Place all the dough ingredients into a deep bowl.

Knead the dough, transfer it to the multicooker bowl, let it rise using the "Yogurt" mode for 1 hour, and then punch it down.

After the second rise, divide the dough into 50g portions, round each piece into a ball, and shape into a ring.

Arrange the doughnut pieces on a flour-dusted surface and let them rise slightly and dry out a bit.

Pour sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl and heat it up using the "Fry" mode, set for 35 minutes.

Drop the doughnut pieces into the hot oil and fry on both sides.

Remove the doughnuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar before serving.
