Multicooker-Braised Lard with Onion Skins
Aromatic and tender lard braised in onion skins with spices and garlic. A great homemade appetizer made in a multicooker.

Method
Add the dry ingredients to your multicooker pot: onion skins, bay leaf, and salt.
Pour water over everything.
Rinse the lard under running water, cut it into pieces, and add it to the pot with the other ingredients.
Select the Braising mode and cook the lard for 60 minutes.
When the signal sounds, don't rush to remove the lard—leave it on the warming setting for about 7 hours.
Once the time is up, take the lard out of the multicooker, let the water drain off, and rub each piece with minced garlic and dry spices to taste and preference.
Store the lard in the refrigerator or freezer. Wrap each piece individually in foil.
