Method

In a bowl, combine 500 g of margarine with warm water, add salt, citric acid, vinegar, and egg yolks.

Gradually add in the flour and knead by hand—you'll need about 1.4 kg.

Divide the dough into 5 portions and place them in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Take out a piece, roll it out not too thin, brush with margarine, and fold it up.

Cover with a kitchen towel and place in the refrigerator for 40–60 minutes.

Repeat the rolling, buttering, and chilling process two more times.

Roll the dough out to a thickness of 3–4 mm and use for baking.
