Method

Make your dressing: whisk everything together and chill it while you prep the rest.

Cut the potatoes into quarters and boil them with the carrots. Let cool completely.

Lightly mash the potatoes with a fork (don't go overboard), then grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Peel the cucumber, scoop out the watery middle, and dice it into small cubes.

Boil the eggs hard, cool them down, separate the yolks from the whites. Crumble the yolks and grate the whites on a fine grater.

Drain the tuna and break it up with a fork.

Layer it up: potatoes first, drizzle some dressing, tuna, more dressing, carrots, cucumbers, dressing again, then the grated egg white, and finish with the crumbled yolk on top.
