Method

Cut firm, medium-sized tomatoes into quarters.

Finely chop the dill and parsley.

Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and chili pepper, add the garlic, and process in a blender.

Mix the chopped herbs with the blended pepper mixture.

Pack the tomatoes into a jar in layers, alternating with the prepared herb and pepper mixture.

For the dressing: mix together the vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, and salt. Pour this mixture over the tomatoes in the jar.

Seal the jar with a lid and gently shake to distribute the dressing among the tomatoes.
