Method
Wash and peel the apples, then slice them into small wedges. Peel the kiwi as well and chop into small wedges.
Transfer the fruit to a deep cooking pot and squeeze the juice of a whole lemon over it. This prevents the fruit from darkening.
Next, pour in the sugar, add the water, and let the fruit sit for 1 hour to release its juices.
After an hour, place the pot with the future jam over the heat, bring to a boil, and simmer for 25–30 minutes.
Once done, let the jam cool completely. Then bring it back to a boil and turn off the heat.
Ladle the jam into sterilized jars.
