Method

Peel the garlic cloves and roughly chop them. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic over low heat, stirring constantly, for 2–3 minutes until soft and aromatic. Do not let it burn. Then, let it cool slightly.

Mash the garlic with a fork until it forms a paste. Add the butter, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and finely chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet cut-side up.

Spread the garlic mixture evenly over the entire surface of the bread.

Generously sprinkle the bread with grated cheese. Optionally, add a few more red pepper flakes for an extra kick.

Bake in a preheated oven at 230°C (450°F) for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and the edges of the bread are golden and crispy.

Serve the garlic bread immediately while the cheese is still hot and stretchy.
