Garlic Bread with Cheese and Herb Butter

Method
Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop or lightly crush them. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic over low heat until soft and aromatic. Watch closely: garlic burns quickly and can turn bitter.
Remove the garlic from the heat and let it cool completely. Mix it with the softened butter, finely chopped parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes. Mash everything together with a fork until smooth.
Slice the loaf in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter evenly across the cut surfaces.
Generously top the bread with grated cheese, making sure to cover the entire surface.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and develops a golden, appetizing crust.
Let the bread cool slightly, cut into portioned slices, and serve hot.
