Method

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour the water into the dry ingredients, add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, and whisk until smooth.

Wash the apples, peel them, remove the cores, and slice them into 1.2-1.5 cm thick rings.

Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan to a depth of about 4 cm and heat it thoroughly.

Dip each apple ring first into the batter, then fry on both sides in the hot oil until golden brown. Transfer the fried apple rings to paper towels to drain excess oil.

Coat the finished apple rings in sugar on both sides, arrange them on a platter, dust the top with ground cinnamon, and serve immediately.
