Method

Wash the watermelon, cut it in half, and slice it into manageable portions.

Trim away the red flesh, making sure to remove all the seeds.

Place half of the flesh into a heavy-duty freezer bag, press out the air, and transfer to the freezer.

Blend the remaining half until smooth, adding sugar or honey if desired.

5

Pour the puree into a container and freeze.
