Method
Dissolve the yeast in the milk, add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until combined, then add the sifted flour and salt, and mix for one minute.
Add the butter in pieces and mix for another minute.
Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 2 hours.
Peel the pears, core them, and slice them into 2-3 cm thick wedges. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
The finished dough will be very sticky and wet. Handle it using a spatula, dough scraper, or spoon.
Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper, leaving the sides ungreased. Pour the dough into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula, then arrange the pear slices on top in a fan pattern or however you like, making sure to leave about a 1 cm gap between the pears and the edge of the pan.
Press the wedges slightly into the dough, sprinkle with brown sugar, and let rise for 30 minutes covered with plastic wrap.
Bake the pie at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
Let it cool, remove from the pan, and dust with powdered sugar only after it has cooled completely.
