Method

Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy and pale. Then add the sour cream and melted butter, and beat again. Combine the flour with the baking powder, sift into the batter, and mix well. Divide the batter into two portions; mix a little extra flour into one and the cocoa powder into the other.

Drop the batters into the pan in alternating layers. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 50-55 minutes.
