Drying Barberries
An easy way to preserve barberries at home using an oven or a dehydrator.

Method
Remove the berries from the branches, discarding leaves and stems, then wash the barberries while rubbing them gently between your palms.
Transfer to paper towels and pat dry.
Spread the berries on a baking sheet or in a dehydrator, and heat in the oven at 60°C (140°F) for thirty minutes with the door slightly ajar.
Let them cool completely for two hours and repeat the drying process until the barberries are completely dry inside and out.
Transfer to a container and let cool.
Do not seal hot berries in a jar to prevent condensation and subsequent mold growth.
