Method
Strip the berries from the branches, removing leaves and stems, then rinse the barberries while gently rubbing them between your palms.
Transfer to paper towels and pat dry.
Spread the berries on a baking sheet or in a dehydrator, and warm in the oven at 60°C for thirty minutes with the door slightly ajar.
Let them cool completely for two hours and repeat the drying process until the barberries are dry both inside and out.
Transfer to a container and let cool. Do not seal hot berries in a jar to avoid condensation and subsequent mold growth.
