Method

Prepare grated cucumbers and mix them with salt at a ratio of 2 tablespoons per 1 kg.

Place a dill umbrella at the bottom of a three-liter jar.

Layer whole cucumbers and grated cucumbers with minced garlic.

Finish the packing with grated cucumbers, salt, the remaining juice, and top with a large horseradish leaf.

Alternative method: mix grated cucumbers with garlic, dill, and salt all at once, then fill the jars.

Seal with a tight plastic lid (if necessary, coat the inside of the lid with mustard for mold protection).

Wash off any drips from the jar and move to the cellar for storage.
