Method

Rinse the strawberries, pat them dry, remove the stems, and place them in a tall container.

Add sugar and lightly crush with a potato masher, keeping some berry pieces intact.

Transfer the mixture into a sturdy freezer bag set in a tray, remove the bag, press out the air, and seal tightly.

Pop it in the freezer until solid.

Serve slightly thawed as a dessert.
