Method
Preparing the sponge: mix the yeast, low-protein milk or water, and the low-protein baking mix. Cover everything with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm place for half an hour.
Preparing the dough: microwave the Chantipak vegetable cream for about a minute and add it to the low-protein baking mix. Mix thoroughly. Then add the sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar, softened butter, and salt. Knead the dough well again.
Add the sponge to the dough. Knead the kulich dough thoroughly. You can optionally add raisins, candied fruit, or, if tolerated, a few nuts.
Fill the mold about halfway or slightly less with the dough. The recipe uses an 110x85 mm mold. Smooth the surface, spritz with water, and place in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. Preheat the oven to the bake setting, preferably with convection, and bake for about 40 minutes.
Let the finished kulich cool, and decorate as desired with icing and sugar decorations.
