Fragrant homemade cookies made from two types of dough with a nutty filling and sugar syrup. Perfect with tea for a cozy family evening.

Method

Mix the dough and divide it into two parts. Add cocoa dissolved in milk to one part.

Chill both pieces of dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

For the filling: chop the walnuts and mix with sugar.

After chilling, cut each portion of dough in half. Roll it out on parchment paper — it's much easier that way.

Shape the cookies as shown in the video.

Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F, then 10 minutes at 300°F.

For the syrup: simmer sugar with water for 10–15 minutes, then add lemon juice and honey.

Drizzle the finished cookies with warm syrup. Let them soak it up.
