Chocolate Royal Vatrushka in a Multicooker

🕐 85 min 👁 1 Channel post →

A delicate curd vatrushka with chocolate dough, similar in texture to a soufflé. A great dessert for tea that is easy to make in a multicooker.

Method

1

Beat the eggs with sugar using a mixer until fluffy.

2

Add the sour cream or kefir, baking soda, and melted butter, then mix on medium speed.

3

Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until smooth.

4

Prepare the filling. Blend the cottage cheese, sugar, and eggs with a mixer until smooth, add the starch, and beat well again to get a thick consistency.

5

Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. Pour in the batter first, then the filling on top—do not stir them together.

6

Bake on the "Baking" setting for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once the time is up, turn off the multicooker and leave the vatrushka covered inside for another 10 minutes.

7

Use the steam cooking basket to invert the bowl and remove the vatrushka. Let it cool, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
