Combine all ingredients except the butter and blend until smooth with an immersion blender.

Place the bowl over a double boiler and melt the curd for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Once the mixture becomes fluid and smooth with no curd lumps left, remove from the heat, add the butter, and mix well.

Pour the mixture into any dish, cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface, and let cool to room temperature.
