Method

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Whisk the egg in a bowl, add all the remaining marinade ingredients, and mix well.

Add the chicken pieces and massage them thoroughly into the marinade for about 1 minute.

Let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.

Lightly shake off any excess marinade before frying.

Coat the pieces in potato starch so they are completely covered, but avoid a heavy, thick layer.

Pour oil into a large skillet to a depth of about 7-10 mm. Heat thoroughly.

Place the chicken in the pan without overcrowding.

Fry over medium heat for 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Transfer the cooked chicken to a wire rack or paper towels and let it rest for about 3 minutes.
