Place the butter in a bowl or saucepan, set it over a pot of hot water, and stir until melted.

Cut the fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 3-4 cm.

Finely grate the cheese. Combine it with the breadcrumbs, salt, thyme, and basil.

Dip the chicken pieces one by one into the melted butter, then coat them thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
