Method

On the sauté setting, heat oil and cook half of the finely diced onion and carrot for about 10 minutes until softened.

Stir in tomato paste, salt, spices, and 400 ml of hot water.

Mix the ground meat with the remaining finely diced onion, spices, salt, and semolina. Work the mixture well.

Divide the meat mixture into 5 portions. Place a piece of cheese in each portion (divide the cheese into 5 pieces), form into meatballs, and arrange them in the prepared sauce.

Cook on the multi-cooker setting at 110°C for 45 minutes, or use the stew setting for 1 hour 15 minutes.
