Cabbage Solyanka for the Winter

Method

Finely shred the cabbage.

Transfer the cabbage to the multicooker bowl and set it to the Stew mode for 45 minutes.

It is best to add the salt and tomato paste just before the cabbage is fully cooked (about 7 minutes prior).

Once everything is ready, spoon the vegetable mixture into jars and cover them loosely with lids (do not seal them all the way).

Now you need to sterilize the contents of the jars: line the bottom of a pot with a cloth towel, place the jar on top, turn on the heat, and bring to a boil.

Let it boil for no more than 20 minutes.

Seal the jars, let them cool down, and then store them in a cool place.
