Prep the ingredients: shred the cabbage, and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Sauté the vegetables with the ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Make the custard by whisking the eggs with sour cream and grated cheese, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the prepared ingredients to a baking dish and pour the custard over top.
