Method

Crack an egg into a bowl, add vegetable oil, softened butter, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and powdered sugar.

Mix well and beat until you get a smooth, uniform consistency.

Add flour and baking powder, knead until you have a soft, homogeneous dough—work in a bit more flour by hand if needed.

Take a 500ml plastic bottle, cut a pattern into the cap (a star shape works great), and cut off the bottom of the bottle.

Transfer the dough into the bottle and screw the cap on tight.

Pipe the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form cookies.

Bake at 350°F for 15–17 minutes until lightly golden.

Melt the chocolate and prepare the almonds.

Dip the edges of the baked cookies into the melted chocolate, then into the almonds.

Let the chocolate set completely.
