Method
Slice the beef against the grain into pieces about ¾ to 1¼ inches thick, pound them on both sides, then season with salt and pepper.
Make the batter: whisk together an egg with mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and milk, gradually adding flour until you get a consistency like kefir or buttermilk.
Set your multicooker to the 'Sauté' or 'Deep Fry' mode and heat up the vegetable oil.
Dip the romsteaks in the batter and fry until they're golden brown on both sides.
