Method

Mix all the meatball ingredients thoroughly and let rest for 1 hour.

Form round meatballs and arrange them in a baking dish along with the chopped tomatoes.

Layer the bottom of the dish with thinly sliced potatoes tossed in ground red pepper, vegetable oil, salt, and oregano.

Optionally add slices of green pepper, garlic, and onion, then place the meatballs on top.

Combine water with tomato paste and pour evenly over the dish.

Bake in the oven at 200°C until the meatballs are cooked through.
