Publishing and autopilot
What works: views analysis and a smarter autopilot
The “Statistics” page has a “What works” block. It takes your videos published on YouTube with statistics and calculates average views per day (since publication, so older clips do not win automatically). Then it compares them by parameters: project, mode, language, length, autopilot or manual, weekday and publication time (Oslo time). Next to each group is the deviation from the average in percent. Groups of 2+ clips are shown; while there are fewer than six clips the block warns that conclusions are tentative.
The autopilot uses this data too: if a project has at least 5 videos published on YouTube with statistics, when searching for a new topic it gets a hint about what the most successful (and with 6+ clips — the weakest) videos were about, and leans toward what resonates with your audience without repeating what is already done. The “own scripts” mode is not affected — you set the scripts yourself.
